Here, we share the heartbeat of St. Victor School—news, events, and reflections from our classrooms and community. Each post offers a glimpse of how we form students as faith-filled individuals, lifelong learners, and caring citizens.
Belonging is at the heart of St. Victor School. From strong academics—where 85% of students meet or exceed state standards—to collaborative classrooms, cherished traditions, and a community rooted in faith, every child is known, supported, and inspired to grow. Belonging here means your child is welcomed as they are and nurtured as they become their best self.
At St. Victor School, every big dream begins with a Little Charger. Our preschool and kindergarten programs balance play-based exploration with a strong academic foundation in phonics, literacy, and social-emotional learning — helping every child grow in confidence, faith, and curiosity as a lifelong learner.
At St. Victor School, tradition meets innovation in our 5th grade math classroom. By adopting Vertical Non-Permanent Surfaces (VNPS), students are making their thinking visible on shared whiteboards, collaborating with classmates, and gaining real-time feedback from teachers. This hands-on, research-backed approach builds confidence, critical thinking, and deeper understanding—helping every Charger learn by doing.
At St. Victor School in San Jose’s Berryessa neighborhood, students discover creativity and confidence through our Electives Program. From drawing and choir to makers’ space, chess, and video editing, each class helps students explore passions beyond the textbook. By balancing strong academics with joy and hands-on learning, we shape well-rounded, lifelong learners who are ready to lead with curiosity and heart.
