Each November, St. Victor School celebrates a joyful month of reading through our Read-A-Thon and Scholastic Book Fair. These traditions nurture lifelong learners, spark curiosity, and strengthen our Parent Partnership. Students explore new stories, families read together, and our community comes alive with a shared love of books.

At St. Victor School, every big dream begins with a Little Charger. Our preschool and kindergarten programs balance play-based exploration with a strong academic foundation in phonics, literacy, and social-emotional learning — helping every child grow in confidence, faith, and curiosity as a lifelong learner.

St. Victor School, middle school teacher Mr. Contreras brings abstract learning to life through hands-on, faith-based projects that inspire critical thinking and creativity. From Revolutionary War posters to monk-life simulations, students learn to connect ideas, apply knowledge, and grow as lifelong learners in a Catholic school community.

At St. Victor School, tradition meets innovation in our 5th grade math classroom. By adopting Vertical Non-Permanent Surfaces (VNPS), students are making their thinking visible on shared whiteboards, collaborating with classmates, and gaining real-time feedback from teachers. This hands-on, research-backed approach builds confidence, critical thinking, and deeper understanding—helping every Charger learn by doing.

At St. Victor School, a private Catholic school in San Jose’s Berryessa neighborhood, students discover a lifelong love of reading through joyful experiences.
